**Your Role**
As part of our team, you’ll be expected to:
- Use 3D CAD software (SOLIDWORKS Professional 2021) and PDM data management to produce accurate manufacturing drawings and machining data.
- Organize and maintain existing drawings and designs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales or interior design, to ensure designs meet specifications.
- Ensure designs adhere to business standards.
- Provide technical information using 3D CAD software (preferably SOLIDWORKS).
- Be involved in the continuous improvement of products and manufacturing processes.
- Support manufacturing with current issues and assist in their resolution.
- Follow the NPD process and support new prototype builds.
- Assure product and process quality.
**Skills & Experience Desired**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in CAD Design using 3D CAD packages, such as SOLIDWORKS (preferred), Inventor, or Pro Engineer.
- Knowledge of furniture design and concepts.
- Knowledge of timber stud wall construction is advantageous.
- Understanding of CAD/CAM and program nesting would be beneficial.
- Experience in industries like modular building or similar fields.
