Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Administrative Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation by providing comprehensive administrative support. Duties
1. Supervise daily administrative operations and ensure adherence to organisational policies.
2. Manage and coordinate various projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organisational goals.
3. Develop and implement strategies for effective social media management to enhance our public presence.
4. Lead fundraising efforts by identifying opportunities and engaging with potential donors.
5. Market organisational initiatives to educate the community on public health matters.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support administrative functions.
7. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment and encourage professional development.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
1. Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a public health or non-profit setting.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
3. Demonstrated project management capabilities, with a track record of successfully managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Familiarity with social media platforms and their effective use for organisational promotion.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on educating diverse audiences.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
7. Previous experience in fundraising and applying for grants would be an advantage.
