Bring your skills to the mix as a Hydraulic Engineer, you'll play a vital role in all aspects of fluid mechanics on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of fluid mechanics, within sectors such as Water, Defence, Energy, Aviation, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Manchester, Leeds, Belfast, and Glasgow offices.
Your Purpose
1. Work in a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
4. Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design processes.
What you can bring
* Civil or Mechanical Engineering Degree, working towards Chartered status.
* Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
* Knowledge of hydraulic design for water/wastewater treatment plants, pipeline design, surge analysis, and familiarity with UK standards.
* Experience with industry software such as HADES, VARISIM, WANDA.
