Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and driven Integrated Planning Manager to lead the development and implementation of our Integrated Planning and Car Programme Management approach. This is a critical role that will shape how we plan, manage, and deliver our car programmes, ensuring we optimize resources and achieve our performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of our Integrated Planning and Car Programme Management approach, encompassing planning, programme management, delivery, budget and cost tracking, capacity strategy, and capacity/demand management.
* Define, develop, and implement robust processes, project controls, and tools to support effective car programme delivery.
* Manage a team of Project Coordinators embedded within different modules, ensuring consistency in reporting, planning, and KPIs.
* Play a key role in driving transformation programmes.
* Partner with Finance to develop and implement effective budget, cost management, and tracking processes.
* Develop and enhance our project management methodology, progress tracking, and reporting systems.
* Collaborate with HR to support strategic workforce planning and develop a system-based capacity strategy and management approach.
* Manage the daily, weekly, monthly, and programme-level capacity and demand management cycle.
* Work with the Quantity Specialist to integrate quantity into plans and demand.
* Improve the integration of planning tools such as MS Project, D365, and TES.
* Extend the reach of the Car Programme Management team to cover additional technical functions.
* Enhance communication and reporting from the Programmes team to the wider organization.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in project, PMO, and portfolio management, with a track record of designing and implementing effective models in different business contexts.
* Strong understanding of F1 team operations and the interactions between different departments.
* Knowledge of how an F1 car programme is developed and the complexities of capacity/demand management in a dynamic environment.
* Experience working with DPT/Systems providers to develop and implement project management tools.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
* Proactive and driven, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.
