Job Description
The Sales Manager for Telecom Datacenter is responsible for executing sales strategies and development within the area of responsibility. The Sales Manager manages the budget for the UK and Ireland regions. Main responsibilities include:
* Business development and growth within Telecom, Datacenter, and AC UPS segments
* Identifying key target potential customers and new business opportunities in Telecom, Datacenter, and Edge Computing
* Achieving annual performance goals and growth targets
* Preparing and following up on annual revenue, including reporting and forecasting
* Managing customer visits and related activities
* Executing sales strategies, profit targets, tactics, and plans
* Developing and maintaining strong long-term business relationships
* Maintaining relationships with existing customers
* Identifying new sales opportunities and business partnerships
* Managing and growing assigned accounts
* Engaging in direct client interactions, presentations, and market activities at conferences and exhibitions
* Maintaining CRM database and business reports
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical & electronics engineering, sales administration, or a related field
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within power supply, telecom, or datacenter sectors
* Technical knowledge of DC Power and AC UPS systems
* Experience in B2B sales, project business, and business development
* Strong business development skills
* Customer service orientation and ability to build business relationships
* Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills
* Good negotiation skills, attention to detail, follow-up, and administrative skills
* Proficiency in written and spoken English
* Ability to deliver concise, engaging presentations
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and electronic communication tools
* Experience with CRM maintenance and reporting
* Understanding of local laws and regulations
* Energetic and proactive attitude
* Problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate issues
* Willingness to travel within the area of responsibility
