White Label Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a leading Pump business that specialises in new pumps as well as the service and repair of pumps. They work with Water, Quarries, Power, Land, Ports Utilities, Poultry industries to name a few
The are now looking to take on an Area Sales & Service Engineer to be based in the North or Midlands do develop new business, but also may involve a bit of hands on work, but being the company’s specialist for the area,.
The Role
* Have a big focus on developing new business for the company, as well as growing current accounts
* This role will involve 70% sales and 30% service work as it may require getting in the tools sometimes to fix it there and then or to see the problem
* Responsible for site surveys, estimates, technical support, understanding customer requirements and providing quotes and promoting sales / business,
* Establishing great customer relationships
* Liaise with the team of Site Engineers for work
* Home based position mainly focusing on North and Midland but may sometimes require travel UK wide
The Person
* This person must have a strong background in the pump / pumping industry
* Must have excellent business development and sales skills and a proven track record in opening doors and winning business
* Have a strong mechanical engineering skills
* Ability to install, fault find and/or service equipment and happy to be hands on as and when needed
* Have good mix of projects, service and sales experience ideally
* Be able to produce own quotations
* Must have excellent technical and communication skills are key as they could be speaking to a customer to provide solutions
* Must have a proactive attitude with lots of drive and determination

* £45k – 55k annual salary
