Job Title: Security Operations Engineer
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Job Description:
As a Security Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and resilience of our security infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing security changes, deploying and maintaining security profiles, and optimizing our security protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in identity management (IDM), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Zero Trust architecture (Z-Trust). Additionally, you should be adept at working within a DevSecOps framework and have hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security changes and enhancements.
2. Advocate for the adoption of DevSecOps principles and practices throughout the organization.
3. Facilitate automation in the security area, including developing automation code/scripts in R&D projects related to Cloud Security products/services/solutions.
4. Work with other team members, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to optimize security measures.
5. Develop and document technical designs for integration and implementation of cloud applications and systems.
6. Engage with the customer on a regular basis.
7. Work closely with IT operations to develop security solutions and security best practices.
8. Create secure baselines – IoC approach.
Requirements:

1. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
2. Adept at working in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment with Azure cloud services and architectures.
3. Understanding of IDM, SASE, and Z-Trust principles and best practices.
4. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) – at least 4 years.
5. Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
6. Proficiency in Python, Terraform, Bicep, and version control systems CI/CD pipelines.
7. Experience with Azure cloud security - at least 4 years.
8. Familiarity with system architecture and hardening standards.
9. Knowledge in Kubernetes/Azure technologies in security best practice, security by default, and security by design.
10. Strong understanding of DevOps and Networking principles.
11. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
12. Certification in one or more Security disciplines such as CISSP, CISM.

1. 400 - Designing and Implementing Azure DevOps Solutions
2. Azure Network Engineer Associate
3. Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
4. Certified System Administrator Associate certification
