GROWTH EQUITY INVESTING
Goldman Sachs Asset Management invests in the full spectrum of alternatives, including private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure. Since 2003, the Growth Equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management has invested over $16 billion in companies led by visionary founders and CEOs, focusing on investments in growth stage and technology-driven companies across multiple industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Involved in all aspects of the investment cycle including sourcing, identifying and evaluating attractive investment themes and opportunities.
* Building relationships with management teams, senior advisors and external industry experts.
* Performing due diligence, financing and closing investments.
* Developing, monitoring and implementing value creation strategies at existing portfolio companies.
* Thriving in a lean organization, operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic and professional record.
* 1-3 years of experience at a leading investment bank, strategy consulting firm, or in an investment role, ideally within the technology sector.
* Highly motivated, well-rounded team players who are passionate about investing and want to build a long-term career at Goldman Sachs.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
* Passionate and intellectually curious about technology and growth equity investing.
* Entrepreneurial and tenacious, consistently taking the initiative to drive progress.
* Strong financial analysis/modeling experience with robust analytical/problem-solving skills.
* Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and work effectively under pressure.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; European language skills are a plus.
