We're working on behalf of a fantastic special school based in South Bristol that is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join them, ideally as soon as possible! The school looks after a wide range of special needs & disabilities, including SLD, Complex Needs & ASD for students aged 4-19.
The school is well respected in the local area and has undergone exciting facility changes recently. We have a couple of candidates currently working at the school in long-term capacities who are incredibly complimentary of the school and the lovely staff there.
The Role
The role of SEN Teaching Assistant will revolve around supporting the class teacher with whatever they need. The role requires you to be proactive, which is crucial to being successful as a TA. The school is in a position to accept applications from part-time & full-time candidates.
Due to the complex needs of the students, it is preferable that you have experience working with SEND in some capacity. It is also preferable that you have worked in a school setting before.
