Tradewind are working with a local Primary School who require an extended school leader from September. The role is part time, 10 hours per week and would be between 07:45am - 09:45am each day. You will be responsible for providing support and interacting with students at the school's breakfast club. You will be required to oversee pupils during breakfast time and ensure behaviour is exceptional.
Salary: £12.83-£13.83 per hour
The assignment will commence from October and be longer term and the school is based in Grimsby.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing support and ensuring the safety of pupils attending the before and after school club.
2. Organising and maintaining an inclusive learning environment across the clubs for children aged 3-11.
3. Providing positive reinforcements, praise and rewards to pupils.
4. Facilitating inclusion in small group activities with peers and support interaction between them.
5. Attending in-service training and relevant meetings to keep up to date.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Primary Aged pupils and a good understanding of how to plan and monitor activities for children. You will also need to be patient, adaptable, and able to work as part of a team. A DBS on the update service is also required for this role. (Tradewind can support with this.)
Requirements:
1. Experience working within a similar role.
2. Prior experience in behaviour management.
3. Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
4. CV must cover the full CV History.
