HR Administrator - Children and Young Peoples Service - Full-Time - On-Site
Location: Benecare Head Office - The Thatch, Stockers Hill, Boughton-under-Blean, Faversham, Kent ME13 9AB
Hours: This role is a full-time role (40 hours per week) - based on a working week of Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm.
As an HR Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the HR and recruitment teams. Your role will include managing HR documentation, supporting recruitment processes, and maintaining compliance with safeguarding and employment standards. You will play a key role in ensuring our HR and recruitment functions run smoothly and efficiently.
You will be joining a leading Children's organisation with a mission to provide looked-after young people with a safe and nurturing environment, one that promotes empowerment, independence and choice, while enhancing their core living skills, and ability to move across the care continuum into fully independent living.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and confidentiality policies.
* Prepare and issue HR documentation, including offer letters, contracts of employment, and variation letters.
* Assist with the onboarding process, including verifying documents, conducting DBS checks, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding standards.
* Monitor and track employee absence and other HR-related records.
* Prepare and submit reports related to HR and recruitment metrics as required.
* Work closely with the HR and recruitment teams to achieve organizational goals.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of HR and recruitment policies and processes.
* Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth running of the HR department.
Person Specification:
* You must be suitable to work with Children. A DBS Certificate is a requirement for the role.
* You must have excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
* You must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask.
* You must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
* You should have proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or recruitment.
* You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
