Job overview
To provide efficient administrative support within the Imaging Reception Team, dealing with enquiries and greeting patients at reception in a professional and courteous manner. The post-holder is responsible for adhering to the Trust's Access Policy and Standard Operating Procedures.
Main duties of the job
1. Reception duties and the booking in of patients.
2. To respond to emails and manage the Imaging Group inboxes.
3. Exchange verbal and written information with patients, staff, and carers requiring tact and diplomacy.
4. Ensure necessary information is disseminated in a timely and appropriate manner using electronic, written, and verbal processes.

1. Respond to requests for information from other departments, providing assistance and feedback promptly.
2. Observe absolute confidentiality on all information obtained during the course of work.
3. Undertake all duties professionally and organise and prioritise work when required.
4. Assist in providing cover during times of annual leave and sickness, which could include covering Royal Stoke Hospital.
