Job summary The operational support manager will work within the Planned Care - Surgery Care Group, supporting the Associate Director and Senior operational manager to achieve excellence in our patient care and pathways. Responsibility for the day to day management, delivery and development of a number of services and teams across the Planned Care - Surgery Care Group Lead teams in the delivery of Trust KPIs linked to RTT pathways and cancer performance Supporting teams to review patient pathways, including project plans and preparation of business cases, ensuring all services deliver a high standard of care which is efficient; Work with the Senior Operational Manager to ensure delivery of best value services. To have responsibility for workforce to ensure that all staff are appropriately line managed, supervised and supported in accordance with the relevant policies of the employing agencies and best practice As part of this post you would have responsibility for the day to day oversight of our theatres and admissions areas, including utilisation levels.
