Senior Business Development Manager - Technical Engineering Sales
We're looking for technical B2B salespeople that can sell precision engineering solutions into manufacturing, automotive, construction, and waste and open up new markets.
Target of 1 million with 700k of existing account business to manage, develop, and grow!
We are looking for a very pro-active, new business hunter who wants to make this their own! SME mentality required. Hands-on self-starter!
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary depending on experience with Excellent BONUS on all sales revenue, 33 days holiday, company car, or car allowance and fuel card.
Location: Warwickshire based HQ (SME Manufacturer) - Design & Development - Precision Engineering
This is a brilliant Midlands-based technical sales role for an ambitious BDM. You will be supported by the Sales Manager in a superb dynamic and growing business based in Coventry with a great customer base and superb engineering solutions into a variety of sectors!
Role and Responsibilities:
1. A role for a motivated product range salesperson who has good experience within account management and B2B sales.
2. Ideally, you will be from a large product portfolio background with energy, personality, and ability to spot opportunities and ask the right questions.
3. You must be resilient and comfortable dealing with engineers and manufacturing and industrial clients.
4. You will be based in Coventry; once you secure appointments with customers, you will be out on the road.
5. A split between home, office, and field - the more you are out, the more you will be home and field-based.
6. Genuine opportunity to build an account base long term and entertain loyal customers and retain business.
7. The role will start with 10% account management and 90% new business and evolve into a 50/50 split or even more towards account management.
8. Target years 1 for example depending on your experience will be between 500K and 1 million in revenue across account management and new business.
