This opening assignment is for 5-6 months
City: BOURNEMOUTH
The Access to Resources team provides a single point of referral offering advice, support and guidance on a range of services for children, young people and families. The team is responsible for the commissioning, monitoring and brokering of services for children, young people and families and ensuring that services meet the required standards to ensure effective delivery and value for money.
Provide administrative contract support to the contracts sub-team within the Access to Resources Team. They will be responsible for the creation and administration of children and young people’s contracts, responding to basic queries, collating data, maintaining spreadsheets and liaising with internal and external colleagues on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Be responsible for creating and administering children and young people’s Contracts.
Answer basic contractual queries from internal and external colleagues.
Prepare documents for meetings, take minutes attend team meetings, produce and distribute accurate minutes and distribute post.
Use electronic purchasing systems.
Undertake administrative duties including filing, scanning, printing, coordinating mail outs and collating basic reports.
Collate and manipulate data from various spreadsheets.
Communicate with internal and external colleagues by telephone, letter and email.
Ensure data collection systems are maintained with accurate and up to date information.
Qualifications:
3 A Levels, NVQ 2/3 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge:
Good knowledge of administrative practices, processes and procedures within an office environment
Working knowledge of ICT including, Excel, Word, Outlook and other programmes
Experience:
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
