Human Ressources Consultant Location: Kensington Date: 31st March - 3 Months Shift Pattern/ Hours : Monday to Friday 36 hours/ week 09:00 a to 17:00 pm Salary: £197.76 per week PAYE The role: Provide a high-quality, comprehensive Employee Relations service on a range of employment relations and employment law matters. Advise and guide managers through a range of employment-related policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with employment law. Draft and update employment policies, procedures, and guidance notes, liaising with trade unions and other stakeholders to seek agreement where possible. Develop and deliver training sessions on employment law updates for HR staff and managers. Manage an ER caseload practically, professionally, and efficiently, ensuring successful outcomes for the organisation. Requirements: Employee relations knowledge and experience in supporting disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence and reorganisations. Evidence of working effectively more broadly in a HR or OD operations role Sound fundamental knowledge of all disciplines within HR&OD and their contribution to the effectiveness and productivity of a business. Ability to present and communicate confidently to large groups. Good analytical skills with the ability to arrive at evidence based and considered decisions. High level of integrity and the ability to remain impartial at all times. An understanding and recognition of the importance of the principles of employment law and best practice in HR&OD. Ability to embody partnership working and a recognition of the added value to the council that this brings.
