We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to help us amplify our brand, drive growth, and continue to build on our success as a sustainable, values-driven company.
Role Overview:
The Marketing Director will play a key role in developing and executing Blue Tit’s marketing strategy while ensuring alignment with our sustainability goals and B Corp values. You’ll be responsible for leading innovative campaigns, overseeing digital marketing efforts, and building strong customer relationships across all touchpoints.
This is a flexible part-time role, with an initial commitment of 2 days per week, and offers the opportunity to work in a creative, dynamic environment where sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Growth
o Develop and oversee Blue Tit’s annual marketing strategy, focusing on brand growth, customer loyalty, and sustainability.
o Support Blue Tit’s business growth by creating marketing campaigns that align with our values and reach our target audience.
o Manage the marketing budget and ensure ROI on all marketing spend, optimizing resources to increase profitability.
2. Campaigns & Content
o Direct the creation and distribution of Blue Tit’s monthly newsletter and ad-hoc email campaigns.
o Oversee the paid social media strategy, driving brand awareness, traffic, and engagement.
o Develop creative customer loyalty programs, incentives, and offers to foster long-term relationships.
3. Customer Experience & Insight
o Evaluate Blue Tit’s current Google reviews strategy and provide actionable recommendations.
o Implement systems to track customer journeys and analyze how new clients found Blue Tit.
4. Team Leadership & Collaboration
o Manage and guide the in-house social media manager.
o Work closely with external PR and SEO agencies.
5. Website Development & Digital Presence
o Help shape the development of a new or updated Blue Tit website.
o Ensure that the website and digital platforms communicate our commitment to sustainability.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience:
o Extensive experience in a senior marketing role, preferably in beauty, lifestyle, or sustainability sectors.
o Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies.
o Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including social media, email campaigns, paid ads, SEO, and analytics.
2. Skills:
o Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to balance innovative ideas with data-driven decisions.
o Strong project management and organizational skills.
o Excellent communication skills.
3. Personal Attributes:
o A proactive, self-starting individual who is eager to take ownership.
o Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
