A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Mortgage Servicing Team for a full time Mortgage Service Representative as we continue to support more borrowers through the rising cost of living. This team is at the forefront of supporting our members throughout their mortgage journey, from completion to redemption and everything in between, you'll get to experience it all. As a Mortgage Service Representative at the Society, you will be working in an extremely fast paced role and you'll quickly become one of the experts our members need working both on your own initiative and as part of a team. Your day to day will be a bit like this: Providing an excellent customer service to our borrowers through all channels including the Online Portal remaining calm and constructive under pressure. Servicing our customer needs and requirements including written, telephone and email enquiries on all aspects of the mortgage account Strong attention to detail Protecting the Society's security by ensuring our charge is correctly registered and any variations during the life of the mortgage are correctly managed Proactively contacting our borrowers to help them stay with the Society as their mortgage reaches the end of their product Managing current mortgage accounts including those going out of term, interest only accounts, lending into retirement and beyond Recognising new opportunities to resolve any challenges that arise Considering contract variations, forbearance, assessing permission to let and second charge requests Managing accounts that fall into arrears including proactively contacting borrowers to help them stay in their home. You will liaise with Solicitors regarding cases heading to litigation to ensure we reach our corporate objective on arrears Keeping up to date with regulatory changes About you The role requires a strong administrator and communicator with a real can-do approach. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills with the ability to work individually or as part of a team providing support for our members with all of their post completion mortgage needs. We will provide all the necessary training so specific mortgage experience isn't essential but would be advantageous. You will need at least 5 GCSE's including Maths and English (C/4 or above).
