Job Title: Registered Manager (Children's Home)\n\nSalary: up to £38K pa depending on experience\n\nLocation: Birmingham, Sparkhill B11\n\nJob type: Permanent/Full-time 37.5hrs per week\n\nAbout the Company - The accommodation offers a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals who need assisted living services. Our mission is to provide a high-quality environment where young people can flourish, learn, and grow in homes that they can call their own.\n\nAbout the Role - We are looking for a Registered Manager to manage our young people and Adults Supported Accommodation that expertly responds to the needs of young people and adults ages 16-18 years old in our care, keeping them safe from harm while preparing them for a fulfilling life ahead.
The successful candidate will be the First point of contact on-site as the Registered Manager, Lead and manage a team of support workers and a wider team, liaise with Ofsted and CQC regulatory bodies, manage budgets and rosters effectively, Report directly to the directors, Manage training and development of staff.\n\nResponsibilities - To keep abreast of developments in social services practice, to be individually accountable for standards of professional practice, Familiar with Ofsted and CQC regulations and protocol, Holder of NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care, at least three years' experience of working (paid) with young people and adults with challenging behaviours, Experience leading and managing a team.\n\nWho we are looking for:\n\n * To keep abreast of developments in social services practice\n\n * To be individually accountable for standards of professional practice.\n\n * Familiar with Ofsted and CQC regulations and protocol\n\n * Holder of NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care\n\n * At least three years’ experience of working (paid) with young people and adults with challenging behaviours\n\n * Experience leading and managing a team\n\nBenefits Package\n\n * Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week, willing and ready to take on-call duties.\n\n * Hours between 9.00 am – 17:00 pm.\n\n * On-going training & development opportunities.\n\n * Overtime options available.\n\n * Career progression.\n\n * On call paid at £60 per on-call\n\nFor more information contact, Fel or Raj on (phone number removed)
