We have a vacancy for a Completions Lead to join our team in the position of Completions Area Discipline Lead on the MEH alliance, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project. The Completions Discipline Lead will be accountable for the management of Completions area leads and Punch list leads, maintaining system and CTP control, and management of change for Completions system up to the point of handover to the client commissioning team whilst working to various LC’s. System and sub-system management for the MEH Alliance.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage System and CTP handover to the Commissioning and Operations team
2. Ensure reviews are being carried out and reports are available for progress at system and CTP’s from the team
3. Lead a team of Completions area leads
4. Ensure engagement of the construction team in the importance of system and CTP handover
5. Represent MEHJV in system and CTP SAG meetings for review and agreement
6. Review of sub-systems packs for MEHJV scope
7. Ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements, supporting the provision of as-built surveys and Lifetime Records
8. Ensure licence conditions for completions activities are always adhered to
Requirements:
1. Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering, Quality)
2. Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
3. Experience of multi-discipline organisation, demonstrating ability to recognise and manage the day-to-day completions through the Construction phase at bulk level whilst mindful of sub-system and system completion in line with Commissioning needs
4. Experienced in leading teams with clear direction, objective setting and management ability, particularly in a multi-cultural environment
5. Nuclear sector experience, ideally in a new build environment is an advantage
6. Experience of construction delivery, maintaining program, and appreciation of technical queries and non-conformances
7. Experience in the collation and maintenance of lifetime quality records, process-driven delivery and closeout/handover of records and data
