About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will assist in delivering tailored educational programs to students with ASD. Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Support the creation and execution of personalised education plans for students with SEN. Deliver individualised and small group assistance to students with ASD. Regularly assess students' understanding and progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to help them improve and succeed. Requirements of SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Previous experience in a similar role or working with students with special educational needs, particularly ASD. Understanding of the national curriculum and strategies for supporting students with SEN. Ability to employ a range of teaching strategies that engage and inspire students, making complex concepts accessible and interesting. Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive relationships and fostering a collaborative learning environment. A strong dedication to assisting students with SEN and a commitment to nurturing their academic and personal growth.
