Lead Youth Worker - Airplay Can you inspire, energise and motivate children aged 5-18 years? Do you enjoy making a real difference to the lives of children and young people? Are you keen to work with a friendly team where your contributions will be valued and you will be treated with respect? Airplay is the RAF Benevolent Fund's (RAFBF) flagship youth support programme. Airplay clubs are delivered by YMCA at 23 RAF Stations across the UK, providing a range of groups, activities and opportunities for children and young people aged from 5 up to 18. We need you to join us as a Lead Youth Worker at RAF Shawbury. You will leading a team of youth workers to deliver youth and play work sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings during term time. Holiday session delivery times may differ as you will develop a holiday programme to meet the needs of the community alongside the Airplay staff team, Young People and local RAF Community Support team. The role is a 3 month fixed term contract for 18 hours a week. Please note that planning, preparation and administration times can be flexible and agreed with your line manager.
