Job Title: Locum Podiatrist Banding: Band 6/7 Location: Oxford Working Hours: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Duration: To be confirmed Rate: Subject to experience Opening Paragraph: We are currently seeking a Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist to join our team in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled podiatrist to work in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role is full-time and the banding will depend on the candidate’s experience. A Band 6 podiatrist will primarily cover a wound care caseload, while a Band 7 candidate will have the potential to take on a clinical lead position. Responsibilities : In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatry services, with a focus on wound care for Band 6 level. If appointed at Band 7, you will also have the opportunity to assume clinical lead responsibilities, contributing to the development and implementation of service improvements. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, maintain accurate patient records, and participate in the training and development of junior staff. Qualifications and Experience : HCPC registered Podiatrist Experience in wound care For Band 7, leadership experience or potential to be a clinical lead Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and time management skills.
