We are building a new expert in-house learning and development team to partner with the business on strategic capability diagnosis, solution design and learning delivery. Delivered through our new Royal London Learning Academy, colleagues will be able to access the latest learning content tailored to their specific career goals, development priorities and learning preferences.

As an experienced Learning & Development Operations Manager you will shape and optimise the design and delivery of development programmes within the Royal London Learning Academy. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure our learning initiatives enhance skills, knowledge, and competencies while aligning with business objectives. With a strategic mindset, strong operational expertise, and a commercial focus on continuous improvement, you’ll play a key role in maximising the impact of our learning programmes and driving organisational performance.
About the role
* Experience in learning and development, with a track record of managing successful L&D operations
* Proven experience in leading and developing L&D teams.
* Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools, experience of SF advantageous
* Experience in programme managing and the integrated delivery of a portfolio of training programmes and initiatives.
* Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
* Analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
* Financial acumen-able to manage set and track budgets and partner on commercial supplier negotiations
