Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
Project Kuiper is seeking a talented, self-directed senior marketing manager to build and execute our residential customer marketing plans in UK and North-West Europe. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast-growing business, working with regional and global colleagues while end-to-end owning the implementation of the B2C marketing plan across UK and North West European countries. Reporting directly to the Head of EMEA B2C Marketing, you will work autonomously to deliver successful marketing programs in a highly ambiguous environment. You will cover the full marketing funnel across all customer life stages, guided by global and regional strategies, and leadership feedback as you regularly report on your plans and results up to Director and VP level.
The ideal candidate for this role has the experience and ability to develop, implement and optimize large-scale, complex, international marketing strategies in a matrix organization.
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.
Key job responsibilities
1. Deliver cross-functional marketing plans designed to meet business targets for each country in your region.
2. Partner with and influence internal and external teams to rapidly and consistently execute world-class marketing campaigns and programs at the highest standard.
3. Leverage global and regional strategies, and adapt messaging and media mix to local nuances to ensure their resonance in each locale.
4. Manage marketing budget by locale.
5. Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence teams to monitor business metrics and regularly report on performance up to VP level, adjusting strategically and tactically as needed.
6. Deliver continuous improvement programs which consistently drive increased efficiency and effectiveness across a wide range of key metrics at country level.
A day in the life
This is a high impact role on the Kuiper B2C Marketing team. You will be a key voice in regional decision-making, while end-to-end owning the B2C marketing strategy for several countries in Europe. A typical day will involve campaign planning, adaptation and implementation; stakeholder management; cross-functional coordination; measurement and optimization; budget and operational planning, and more. Reporting directly to a manager based in London, you will be expected to deliver autonomously and under the high degree of ambiguity which accompanies a fast-growing early-stage business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
2. Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
3. Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
4. Experience in marketing or marketing research
5. Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
6. Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
7. Experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs
8. Experience in professional non-internship marketing
9. BA/BSc in business, communications, telecommunications, marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
2. B2C Marketing experience at a technology and/or telecommunications company
