Since Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) was started in 2016 we have experienced rapid growth. We currently number 33 schools and have nearly 13,000 pupils in our schools and 1,700 employees. We will continue to grow with more schools in Bristol expected to join in the coming years.
The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is cross-phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools. The Trust is a mixed MAT and includes both non-denominational and Church of England schools. You can find more information here.
Due to this growth, we have reviewed our current governance structures and are now recruiting for a Clerk to Trustees to support our Board. This key role will work closely with the CEO, Chair of Trustees, Lead on Governance and other Clerks within LSP.
This role has developed to increase capacity within our Central Team. We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, a willingness to learn and develop and a positive, pro-active work ethic. Previous clerking or governance experience would be highly beneficial but not essential. This role sits within our Central Administration Team, reporting to the Lead on Governance. There will be opportunities to meet and work with key members of the team at our office in Portishead.
You will find more details including the job description and a person specification in the application pack.
You will also find some information from our Head of Administration, which will give you some more context about the wider team and what we are looking for. If you wish to discuss the position informally prior to making an application, please contact Eleanor Capel-Davies, our Head of Administration. How to ApplyApplications should be submitted via our online eRecruitment system.
Applications should address the person specification and set out how you would make a positive difference in this Trust.
