Main duties of the job An exciting administrative opportunity has arisen within the Surgical Admissions Team at Lymington New Forest Hospital. The key function of the role is to provide a seamless booking and administrative service for patients, from their Outpatient appointment to their surgery. You will gain comprehensive knowledge and skills in the booking, processing and management of patients throughout the surgical department. You will have attention to detail and excellent communication skills to liaise with patients, their relatives and clinical team. You will also have excellent organisation skills, work to tight deadlines and perform under pressure. You will need to be IT literate as the role involves using different IT based trust systems, though full training will be given. Informal visits are highly encouraged.
