Job Title: Legionella / Water Treatment Business Development Manager.
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits: £35k - £60k + Company vehicle + Benefits
Successful and busy Legionella / Water Treatment company is currently recruiting for a commercial-focused Legionella / Water Treatment Business Development Manager to join their successful team. Applicants will have a proven track record of promoting company growth through B2B sales, managing new and existing contracts, as well as identifying and approaching sales opportunities. You will come from a well-rounded background, with strong knowledge of both legionella risk assessments and technical water treatment systems. Experience & Qualifications:
1. Will ideally be degree educated (desirable but not essential).
2. Will have a proven track record working within a sales/business development role, specifically in a Legionella / Water Treatment company.
3. Knowledge of Legionella Risk Assessments and associated compliance services.
4. Extensive experience and knowledge of managing and growing closed system, steam boiler, cooling tower, and chemical dosing accounts.
5. Proven track record of B2B sales.
6. Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
7. Excellent people management skills.
8. Able to organise workload efficiently.
The Role:
1. Efficiently overseeing and managing existing contracts alongside proactively sourcing new business.
2. Confidently upselling Legionella / Water Treatment and Hygiene services to existing and new clients in line with client requirements.
3. Working closely with internal management, providing support and assistance when required.
4. Setting and achieving KPIs and targets.
5. Attending sites and gathering information to produce competitive reports.
6. Liaising with clients to provide excellent technical support and advice.
7. Ensuring that internal company systems are up to date and all information is accurate.
8. Closely managing, developing, and monitoring the business forecast and budgeting.
9. Creating site management plans for new and existing clients.
10. Attending meetings, ensuring to represent the company in a professional manner.
11. Managing work schedule efficiently in line with company and client workloads.
