The Lead Generation team’s primary function is outbound calling to generate a pipeline of sales opportunities for the sales team. As Team Leader, you’llhave a passion for building and leading teams. You’ll be responsible for the development, motivation, and effectiveness of the sales team – supporting them to reach exceptional levels of performance by understanding how to get the best out of people in an outbound B2B telesales environment. You’ll be ensuring that the team are maximising call time, achieving their KPIs and providing on the spot feedback, coaching & training to help them to perform at their very best.
Job Description:
* As a people expert, you’ll motivate and inspire your team, tapping into your skills and experience, and using a natural coaching style to help them to reach their full potential.
* You’ll ensure that the day is structured efficiently with a focus on meeting daily sales targets.
* You’ll provide hands-on support to the agents by identifying trends in their performance, call stats etc to ensure maximum call time and efficiency and provide feedback to address any issues.
* Stay informed about market trends and to assist with complex queries and to provide technical support to agents, helping them to find quick resolutions and secure contracts.
* You’ll support the end-to-end employee life cycle from recruitment and onboarding through to offboarding to ensure the delivery of a brilliant employee experience.
* Collaborate with Quality Control and Learning & Development to arrange coaching and training sessions.
* Drive engagement and promote sales incentives for the team, ensuring that we are rewarding recognising and motivating our people.
* Adopt a flexible, enthusiastic, and driven approach to achieving the financial goals of the business as well as maintaining our high standards of customer care.
* You’ll provide high quality data and reporting that will bring insight back to the business on key sales activity.
* Support the Head of Sales and fulfil ad-hoc duties as and when needed.
Job Requirements:
* Previous management experience in a B2B or B2C sales environment ideally, with sector experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and lead a dynamic sales team.
* Able to build collaborative working relationships with your team and colleagues through capability, authenticity and being brilliant to work with.
* Commercially driven. You’ll have the ability to make quick, sound decisions based on knowledge and judgment. You’ll spot opportunities to simplify and improve processes to drive better results.
* A strong leader with a person-centric approach who will be proactive, visible in the business and looking to contribute in meaningful ways.
* A strong influencer, you will listen to understand, be on hand to coach, advise and challenge the status quo as necessary.
