We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and dedicated Assistant Service Manager to join our Specialised Medicine Clinical Group and provide support in the leadership of some of our clinical services.
Some of these include Medical Oncology Clinical Haematology; Haemophilia, Haemoglobinopathy and Stem Cell Transplant. These services are complex and busy so if you are someone looking to develop key skills while working in a diverse and fast-paced management role, this is the role for you.
Main duties of the job
Forming part of the wider Specialised Medicine Management Team, the post holder will undertake a wide range of duties to support the Service Manager, General Manager and Clinical Service Director in the operational management of the Clinical Group.
They will work closely with the clinical teams to ensure the delivery of the key national targets in relation to patient access and the efficient delivery of high-quality services. The post holder will also support the group with specific projects to modernise and improve services.
