About Transaction Banking Products and Services
Transactions Product Management is responsible for the ownership, income, and cost control of the Operational Banking payment and collections Products from across the Corporate Bank. The area manages circa £300m of Transactional Banking Income, contributing to a further £1.4bn of Liquidity Income.
About Trade and Working Capital
TWC provides working capital solutions to clients and non-clients across all segments of the UK market. The TWC product suite includes Trade Finance & Receivables Finance based products provided via a team of specialists across the UK.
What you will be doing
1. Manage a portfolio of Large Corporate Receivables Finance (RF) customers, meeting their needs for RF products such as Invoice Discounting, Asset Based Lending, Selective Receivables Financing, and other bespoke products. The portfolio includes customers with facility limits over £7.5m.
2. Develop and manage all aspects related to RF products and services, including electronic interfaces like Ledgermaster and Barclays Ledgershare.
3. Oversee risk control, income generation, customer service, and portfolio management to maximize income while minimizing business loss to competitors and bad debts.
4. Influence the quality and consistency of operational service provided by Operations to enhance customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills
* Proven experience in invoice financing and asset-based lending products, including legal documentation and transaction underwriting.
* Strong background in Credit risk management.
* Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and drive innovative solutions.
* Effective communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
* Experience in owning and delivering impactful projects within a regulatory environment.
Desirable Skills
* Lending and corporate banking background.
* Experience in managing and delivering projects in a regulatory context.

Purpose of the role
To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and SME clients regarding the Sales Finance Working Capital solution, aligning bank offerings with client needs for mutual benefit and long-term success.
Accountabilities
* Manage client relationships to understand their financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance, supporting growth and identifying trends for improvement.
* Research industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
* Manage and service the client's Sales Finance facility, balancing credit risk and returns.
* Communicate value propositions, justify recommendations, and negotiate beneficial terms.
* Provide guidance and expert product advice to support ongoing client relationships.
* Assess and mitigate financial, legal, credit, and operational risks.
* Document all interactions and transactions for transparency and audit purposes.
* Monitor client satisfaction, revenue, and other metrics to evaluate relationship management effectiveness.
