Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Audio Typist based at Ailsa Hospital.
What You Will Do
As a Medical Audio Typist within the Mental Health - Business Support Service, you will provide a comprehensive Medical Audio Typing service to the Consultant Psychiatrist’s based within South Ayrshire H&SCP. Primary duties will include transcription of clinical correspondence using digital dictation.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
* Experience within an Audio Typist role is essential and you should be educated to SVQ III in Business Admin or equivalent experience.
* You should have advanced typing skills and proven audio typing experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with a range of disciplines.
* A working knowledge of the patient management system (Trakcare), Care Partner, Winscribe, and knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
* Minute taking experience is required to support this role.
Hours
37 hours per week.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership
A car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
