Teaching Assistant - SEN/SEMH School

Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)

Salary: £12.83 - £14.54 per hour
Reeson Education is excited to be recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic SEN/SEMH school in the WN2 area. This full-time, long-term role offers the opportunity to work with pupils aged 11 to 16, providing invaluable support to students with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting individual learning plans, providing one-to-one assistance, and ensuring each student's personal growth in a supportive setting.
Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
* Support KS3 and KS4 pupils with a range of SEN and SEMH needs.
* Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning requirements.
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
* Assist with personal care and social development when required.
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes emotional and academic growth.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with SEN/SEMH pupils is highly desirable.
* Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young people.
* Ability to build trusting relationships with students who may face social or emotional challenges.
* Passionate about supporting vulnerable learners and making a real difference in their education.
