We have a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team on a fixed term basis to support a child with additional needs.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual, who enjoys using their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. This is a fixed term position linked to a named child/children.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you:
1. have good literacy and numeracy skills with GCSE Literacy and Numeracy grades A-C
2. are educated to NVQ Level 2 in learning support/early years or equivalent qualification or experience
3. have experience working with a child/ren with Special Educational Needs in a school/early years' environment
4. have knowledge of the Autistic Spectrum and strategies used to support neurodivergent children
5. have excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. have the ability to overcome communication barriers with children and adults
7. understand and support the importance of social and emotional wellbeing
8. have good organisational and interpersonal skills
9. have the ability to work on your own initiative
10. ability to remain calm under pressure
11. be prepared to develop and learn in the role
12. experience is desirable
