About the role
The Gardens, Libraries, and Museums (GLAM) at the University of Oxford are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented CRM and Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the implementation of the Galaxy Audience Platform Project (GAPP). This ambitious project aims to centralise and streamline audience engagement across GLAM, ensuring an audience-focused approach to visitor engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth.
As CRM and Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing and optimising the GLAM Dynamics system. You will support the rollout of the CRM, champion its adoption across GLAM sites, and ensure the smooth integration of digital marketing and e-communications. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with the analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment of the new CRM system.
• Managing data administration, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data governance policies.
• Delivering training and maintaining user manuals to support colleagues across GLAM.
• Developing and implementing email marketing templates, customer journeys, and performance metrics.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure CRM utilisation aligns with audience engagement objectives.
This is a fixed-term (18 months), full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
The role supports a hybrid working model, with the expectation of working on-site a minimum two days per week.
About You
We are seeking a proactive and analytical individual with the following essential skills:
• Knowledge of marketing, communications, or membership services, with experience using CRM or ticketing systems.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and a strong understanding of customer journeys.
• A good grasp of GDPR compliance and experience managing digital databases.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence in reporting on digital engagement and campaign performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for non-specialist audiences.
• Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and functions.
The following skills are also desirable:
• Experience in digital marketing or working with a media and digital advertising agency.
• Knowledge or experience in the library, museum, or cultural heritage sector.
