The Role: Join us in Gillespies’ vibrant Manchester City Centre studio and take a leading role in delivering a wide mix of landscape planning projects — from LVIA and character assessments to sensitivity studies and creative mitigation strategies. Our work is as diverse as it is meaningful: from major clean energy and infrastructure schemes shaping the UK's future, to small-scale, sustainable developments in some of the country’s most valued and protected landscapes. What you’ll bring to the team: • A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field like Geography • Minimum 3 years’ experience in landscape planning • Strong grasp of the UK planning system and how it all fits together • Solid experience in LVIA and a clear understanding of EIA and planning policy • Sharp analytical thinking and excellent report writing skills • Confident communicator with great presentation and organisation skills • Calm under pressure, deadline savvy and ready to take initiative • Full UK driving licence – and happy to travel when needed. Beneficial skills: • Experience in client liaison and supporting stakeholder/public consultations • Strong visualisation skills and experience with viewpoint photography for LVIA • Proficiency in GIS software (ArcView).
