Job Title: Degree Apprentice Digital and Technology Solutions - Network Engineer - Christchurch
Location: Christchurch

What you will be doing: A DTS Engineering Degree apprenticeship involves working alongside experienced and world leading engineers. It combines spending periods of time at University, where you will acquire an Honours Degree, with time working on real projects, enhancing the skills necessary to develop a long career in the industry.
This scheme will see you specialising in Network Engineering. You will learn skills and knowledge associated with Network Engineering such as the design, installation, maintenance and support of communication networks within an organisation or between organisations, ensuring high levels of network performance and availability. You will gain an understanding of network configuration, cloud, network administration and monitoring tools, and be able to give technical advice and guidance, as well as becoming proficient in technology solutions as you analyse system requirements to ensure the network and its services operate to desired levels.
Following completion of the formal DTS Apprenticeship, this scheme also has a final 5th year of supplementary modules such that candidates are ready to apply for Professional Registration at Incorporated Engineering (IEng) level.
Through this combination of academic study and real work experience, you will become a valued member of the data analysis engineering team.
Please note you must not book any annual leave within the first 3 months of your apprenticeship. Following this, leave will be considered depending on the individual training delivery schedule and must be approved by your line manager.
What Qualification Will You Get? By the end of the apprenticeship you will obtain: BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions.
What University will I go to? Cranfield University Milton Keynes 3-4 times per year with travel paid for and virtual lessons weekly at your normal place of work.

Qualification requirements: 5 GCSEs A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English and Science. 96 UCAS Tariff Points (240 points old tariff) (or equivalent), including two STEM based subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
