We are currently working with the Local Authorities, providing 1:1 tuition to students who have been Permanently Excluded (PEX) from school. Here at Protocol Education we have immediate start referrals for tutors, to provide tuition for pupils with challenging behaviour, SEN, SEMH needs and Learning Difficulties. We are looking for 1:1 tutors in the Middlesbrough and surrounding areas, who can help support in English, Maths and Science The tutor role involves: Working with students on a 1:1, face to face basis within their homes or community/ local library. Planning resources around the students’ needs – could be English, Maths, Science or educational learning through play. Skills to keep the students engaged. Managing and implementing a range of behaviour management techniques. Establishing and building a rapport with the students. Completing daily and weekly reports on students’ progress. What we are looking for in a tutor: SEMH(Social, Emotional & Mental Health) and/ or SEN experience. Experience working with students with challenging behaviour. Able to plan and deliver engaging core academic sessions, tailored to the students’ learning levels. Assessing and track the students’ progress to achieve their desired learning outcomes and provide feedback.
