Job summary Auckland Medical Group are looking for an enthusiastic experienced Health care assistant to join our busy nursing team. Initially for 3/4 days per week. We are looking for a HCA with a caring attitude, with the ability to multi task and work as an integral part of the team. Excellent communication and telephone skills are essential along with IT knowledge. Flexibility is imperative due to the nature of the role. Main duties of the job The main duties will include, blood pressure, ecg, pulse rate and rhythm, venepuncture, height and weight, basic wound care dressings, new patient checks, flu vaccinations, diabetic foot checks, chaperone, assisting with minor surgery, 24 hour ecg and bp. Also ensure all clinical rooms are adequately stocked and prepared for each session.
