Within the QA laboratories the main objectives of this role is: - To lead and develop projects in line with the GSK GPS. Support and deputise for the Laboratory Operational Manager. Co-ordinate routine testing through the QC lab within the target cycle time for the site and oversight of stability programme. Line manage the technical team on analytical, validation, regulatory & QC improvement projects. Lead and Co-ordinate safety, quality and compliance activities for the lab - Audits, Lab Investigations, Change Controls, Deviations, Sustainability Build and maintain good relationships with colleagues in the business, especially site Quality, site Technical, site regulatory, the Stability Shared Service, and Mayenne. Deputise and to support the Laboratory Operations Manager as required. Why you? Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: B.S.c Degree or extensive on the job experience within quality and Quality control Significant experience in a Quality/Analytical organization including line management experience. Experience in analytical method and equipment validation. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Experience of engagement in regulatory inspections. Experience with Quality/EHS investigations and CAPA implementation. Experience of driving performance improvement for quality and EHS.
