Fantastic Support Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a number of caring and passionate Support Workers to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing specialist support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives. Your role will involve encouraging independence, supporting individuals to make their own choices, and ensuring their safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
* Ensure the safety of service users.
* Follow care plans for each individual.
* Take service users out into the community.
* Participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
* Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements
* No experience is required.
* Must be resilient.
* Drivers are essential due to the location.
* Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
What We Offer
* A competitive salary of £26,477 - £26,926 (including sleeps) + plenty of overtime available.
* Full-time, 40 hours per week + 1 sleep per week.
* Permanent contract.
