What skills and experience we're looking for
Houlton School has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Teacher of History to join our successful school. You will join a passionate team of teachers who are committed to delivering these subjects in engaging and inspiring ways. You will be an excellent teacher who has the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support their pupils to ensure that they make excellent progress. You will be able to teach History to at least Key Stage 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will:
• Be a motivated individual with excellent subject knowledge in History with knowledge of current trends in teaching within this area.
• Be committed to supporting pupils to succeed.
We welcome applications from suitably qualified teachers who can offer History to KS3/4 and ideally also to KS5.
This post is suitable for Early Career Teachers or more experienced colleagues.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic Teacher of History with a real passion and interest in engaging pupils in these subjects at all levels. You will need to have good communication skills, organisation and time management skills with an outstanding subject knowledge.
