To complement our existing team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Social Impact Manager (SIM) to join our Building North Division. The main purpose of the role is to manage and co-ordinate the delivery of project specific social impact outcomes, across multiple projects, including but not limited to, employment & skills, working with schools/colleges/universities and third sector organisations. Given the nature of the role, the successful candidate will be required to travel regularly between projects and must also be flexible to occasionally attending events outside normal working hours. Role Overview General
* Co-ordinate and support the delivery of project based social impact commitments, travelling between projects to ensure effective delivery
* Integrate with the project team(s) to add value to each project
* Work collaboratively with our client's to ensure community activities and strategies are developed/delivered exceeding their expectations
* Develop and implement best practice in conjunction with other team members and through engagement with external support organisations
* Participate in internal and external specialism forums and steering groups
* Showcase activities through case studies and good news stories
* Preparation of correspondence / documents associated with various duties to be undertaken below
Employment & Skills and Wider Social Impact Targets
* Co-ordinate delivery of project specific social impact requirements
* Engage with local schools, colleges, universities and employability organisations
* Engage with local charities and groups in relation to social benefits
* Co-ordinate and engage with the supply chain to ensure appropriate contribution to targets and activities.
* Gather evidence to prove outcomes
* Prepare reports for management and clients
* Report and monitor overall statistics/ value through internal reporting systems
Assist with Tenders
* Provide responses to relevant questions within responses to PQQ's & tenders as requested by Bid Managers, acting as a subject specialist
* Research client drivers, local requirements, and potential deliver partners to ensure relevant answer
* Attend tender interviews when requested
* Attend tender and client start up meetings when requested
* Ensure any targets proposed are aligned with client requirements or reflective of national standards e.g. National TOM's, CITB National Skills Academy
Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS)
* Provide site management with advice and guidance to assist with the areas of CCS related to Community Engagement/liaison activities
* Be present at CCS audits when required
Support other GRAHAM departments/functions
* Support GRAHAM Academy through the co-ordinate the recruitment & training of apprentices and other new talent
* Provide pastoral care to apprentices/ trainees
* Champion & Co-ordinate Fairness Inclusion & Respect practices on projects
* Assist with any site-specific health and wellbeing activities
* Liaise with other departments i.e. Marketing &Communications, SHE, IT, HR to meet business needs, It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.
