We are seeking a full-time Physics Teacher for a secondary school in Leeds. This role is to start immediately for an initial period of 2 weeks, with the potential for extension.
Start Date: ASAP - Initial 2 Weeks, Potential to Extend
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
2. Experience teaching Physics at the secondary level.
3. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
4. Strong classroom management skills and a passion for education.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Deliver engaging Physics lessons to secondary school students, ensuring a thorough understanding of key concepts.
6. Plan, prepare, and assess student's work, providing constructive feedback to promote academic development.
7. Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging students to explore their interests in science.
8. Collaborate with the science department to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and efficiently.
9. Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with the school's policies.
