Job title: Senior P&P Business Partner (maternity cover)
Location: UK (Peterborough or Marlborough) or attached to one of the European offices Hybrid based
Contract type: Secondment / 12-14 month Fixed Term Contract
Come and join our People & Performance team within Innovative Additives & Ingredients (IAI) starting in March 2025 to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to gain international experience supporting approx 240 people across 26 countries within AB Vista and Livalta. Ideally based working a hybrid working pattern from our offices in the UK or attached to our European offices with a requirement to travel internationally.
The Senior P&P Business Partner plays a strategic role in aligning the People & Performance function with the overall business strategy supporting the P&P Director. The position goes beyond traditional HR tasks, focusing on improving business outcomes through strategic HR initiatives. The role also includes HR responsibility for the ISN team in Vietnam and line management of our P&P Advisor for Netherlands.
What you'll be doing:
* Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and align HR strategies to support them in the business.
* Provide insights on workforce planning, organisational design, talent management, and organisational development to achieve long-term business achievements.
* Develop change initiatives to drive cultural transformation and organizational growth.
* Provide support to leaders and teams navigating market shifts, technological updates, or changes in company composition.
* Support the development and implementation of strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing key talent.
* Work closely with leaders on succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
* Promote a positive work environment that supports employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion working with managers on a regular basis to focus on this.
* Implement initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and productivity.
* Use HR metrics and analytics to provide actionable insights for business leaders. Support managers with business cases.
* Monitor key HR indicators such as turnover rates and employee engagement scores.
* Ensure headcount planning processes are in place and reviewed annually.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and managers on HR-related matters, such as employee relations, organisational design, and workforce planning.
* Supply support and direction to managers for enhancing team performance and collaboration.
* Ensure that the business complies with labour laws, regulations, and internal policies.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks related to employee relations, workplace safety, and ethical behaviour.
* Work with the HR team to streamline processes and enhance HR service delivery.
* Ensure that HR policies and practices are aligned with business strategy and industry best practices.
* Support Agri wide projects as required.
