Position Overview
Job Title: Commodities UI Lead Engineer
Corporate Title: Vice President
The Rates business is undergoing extremely rapid evolution and electronification. A key initiative for 2025 is the migration of the frontend for the Bonds pricing and quote management platform to a modern web-based UI to handle larger volumes and provide a rich user experience suitable for modern electronic trading workflows.
Rates Technology operates as global teams with engineers in the UK, US, India, and Germany. You will be based in London, working closely with the business, and will be part of the Rates Technology team.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Working as part of a global technology team, looking after development initiatives from London
* Hands-on development
* Project management in key initiatives
* Overseeing the rollout of deliverables to the Commodities business
* Contributing to assessment for new business requirements and strategic development of platform architecture and infrastructure
* Ensuring our trading platform meets all security and audit requirements
Your Skills And Experience
* Javascript/Typescript, React, Playwright, Tailwind
* Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, Junit, Oracle/SQL/PL SQL, Linux, Shell Script, JMS, MQ
* Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory
* Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
* Experience of managing a development team
* Strong coding, design, and analysis skills
