About BRAC Global
Within the BRAC family of entities, BRAC Global, encompassing the BRAC Global Board and BRAC Global secretariat team led by the BRAC Global Executive Director, coordinates and supports BRAC entities on issues that have organisation-wide implications. BRAC Global aims to provide coherence and a coordinated approach to priorities and concerns shared across BRAC entities, including partnerships and fundraising, communications, risk management, people and culture, knowledge and learning, in close collaboration with BRAC entity leadership.
In June 2022, the BRAC Global Board approved a new OneBRAC Executive Management structure and Global ResourceMobilisation and Partnerships Strategy 2022-2025 (GRMPS). Accordingly, a Partnerships Committee was constituted, responsible for drawing on resources and capacity across BRAC in the implementation of GRMPS, and effective resource mobilisation and grant management functions. Additionally, in March 2024, the BRAC Global Board approved BRAC’s Global Strategy 2030 signaling key priorities for the organisation.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Partnership and Grants Officer, the Manager, Partnerships Committee is a key member of the BRAC Global team responsible for providing high-level support to an active executive committee dedicated to Partnerships. Coordination will be expected with other support positions attached to BRAC Global, including a Senior Manager for Global Initiatives and an Officer servicing OneBRAC Communications and Risk & Performance Committees, currently based in Nairobi.
For the Partnerships Committee, the Manager will support high-profile engagements, including events as prioritised by the Executive Directors and/or Partnerships Committee. The Manager will also keep an overview of all commitments and actions emerging from donor prospects and donor engagements of executive leadership across entities, the Partnerships Committee members and the Climate Hub. Tracking and following up on prospect actions may include assigning actions out as necessary across entities[1], in line with Account Leadership principles and Partnerships Committee agreements. Maintaining a global view on donor engagement follow-up is intended to optimise resources and promote efficiency. The Manager also manages critical fundraising information to help compile quarterly KPIs on the Partnership Committee performance for management and governance reporting [2]. The Manager may also directly manage select coordinated workstreams within the GRMPS to achieve Resource Mobilisation, Partnership and Grant Management goals and/or take on other Special Initiatives as requested.

Key Responsibilities:
Donor Engagement Tracking
Maintain a OneBRAC donor engagement action tracker compatible with Salesforce.
Data Management & Analytics
* Manage the refresh of the Global Pipeline tool, through the Partnerships Committee, coordinating with all four entities.
* Maintain the Global Pipeline, requiring coordination with the data collection, data quality and data reporting team across four entities.
* Compile the quarterly Partnerships Committee dashboard.
* Contribute to KPI compilation and related analytics.
* Manage a central Go / No Go Tracker; ensuring oversight over all organisational Go / No Go decisions, real time.
Support to EDs / Partnership Committee members
* Provide Partnerships Committee members and senior leadership across OneBRAC with donor engagement support. May include complex scheduling and/or developing content for senior leaders and/or attending meetings as a support function to document meetings including follow-up actions.
* Support Partnerships Committee members with organising and coordinating representation in high-profile Fundraising events.
Administrative/Management Support
* Participate as an observer of the Partnerships Committeein the implementation of the Partnership Committee Terms of Reference.
* Compile minutes for all Partnerships Committee meetings/retreats.
* Support the Partnerships Committee Chair tocreate and deliverpresentations and strategyupdates that communicate key workstream findings and recommendations.
* Support with information repositories for the Partnerships Committee function, linked to BRAC Global protocol.
* Work with BRAC Global ExecutiveDirector, Partnerships Committee Chair to articulate new workstreams and write project documents: business cases; presentations, ToRs, strategy documents, guidelines.
Upstream Due Diligence
* Manage Upstream Due Diligence Tracker and follow up on Partnership Committee recommendations toward a decision.
Special Initiatives
* The Manager plays a critical role in advancing special projects or initiatives undertaken by the BRAC Global Team, and led by the Executive Director or Chief Partnership and Grants Officer. In the past, illustrative special projects specific to Partnerships have included the “Reimagining USA” process, or the development of a donor landscape study for the Climate Hub.
Academic Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree, Project Management Certification or Master’sDegree (preferred).
Required Skills, Competencies & Knowledge:
* Ability to manage and prioritise across multiple projects to meet deadlines and goals and, within initiatives, the ability to identify challenges and gaps and signal / manage up effectively on these.
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; able to distill complicated issues into clear outputs or recommendations.
* A self-starter, able to navigatecompeting stakeholder interests, comfortable with ambiguity and complex systems.
* Enjoys workingin matrix-teams and contributing to a team environment; and willing to take on leadership opportunities.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and intellectual curiosity to delve into content, programmes and concepts.
* Experience in utilising global systems and databases such as a CRM.
* Strong computer skills in Google and/or Microsoft platform.
Required Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the development sector in a coordination or support role, ideally with some time in communities and close to programming realities.
