Experienced Group (Business) Incident Manager to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. As part of this role, you'll manage incidents from initial assessment to resolution, ensuring minimal disruption for our customers and the business. Your insights and leadership will help drive continuous improvements in service management processes.
The role:
* Lead or support senior managers on critical Bronze/Silver Incidents, working with both technical and business teams to restore services swiftly and effectively.
* Provide clear and timely updates to key business stakeholders on incident status, service impact, and restoration timelines.
* Drive Post Incident Reviews (PIRs), documenting root causes and tracking resolutions to completion.
* Identify and lead Service Improvement initiatives across the incident management process.
* Monitor and manage incident tools like ServiceNow and Teams, ensuring early detection and swift resolution.
* Collaborate across teams, driving enhancements to incident management frameworks to increase efficiency and customer experience.
Your skills and experience:
* Proven experience in Group (Business) Incident Management within a banking organisation.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
* Ability to influence and drive partner engagement through incidents, PIRs, and service reviews.
* A clear understanding of the technologies and services that underpin the bank’s key business processes.
* A relentless commitment to continuous service improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing customer & colleague experiences.
Other Requirements:
* Willingness to work out-of-hours/standby to support incidents and major IT releases on a 24/7/365 basis. Rota is 1 in 4 weekends.
