Little Red Rooster is on the hunt for a social media superstar to join the team, working on content creation, planning and social media management for an epic roster of clients.

We are looking for someone who is creative, yet analytical, with a real passion for helping brands grow their social media presence. You’ll be responsible for driving the creation of exceptional social content, putting together content plans, briefs for influencers, generating new creative ideas for campaigns alongside the day-to-day management of the channels. Our clients sit across a wide variety of sectors, so you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of projects with a range of audiences.
This role will be client facing; you’ll be joining client meetings and have daily contact via emails and other project management tools.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Generating creative ideas for campaigns, content briefs and partnerships
2. Weekly and monthly content creation e.g. creating engaging copy for social posts, drafting beautifully designed content for Instagram Stories
3. Shooting and editing of content for reels/videos
4. Day-to-day client communication throughout the content planning, creation and approvals process
5. Daily social media management; monitoring client channels and proactive community management to increase brand awareness
6. Monitoring and engaging with trending social moments
7. Weekly and monthly reporting to assess performance against KPIs, and optimise ongoing social strategy
8. Managing budgets for boosted spend and influencers
9. Supporting the team with additional projects
10. Staying up to date with the latest social innovations, technologies and production techniques
Key skills and experience:
1. Minimum of one year’s experience, preferably with another agency
2. Strong social media content experience with an understanding of and demonstrable passion for the influencer landscape, the different social platforms and content creation best practice
3. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
4. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
5. A super creative mind that can think up unique content ideas
6. Video/photo editing skills
7. Experience of working with Canva to draft stories and reels
8. Confident communicating in person or online, and comfortable building strong relationships with clients
9. You can manage up, flagging any issues that need senior support
10. Adept at prioritising and managing a busy workload, and delivering to deadlines
The role is based in our brand-new office in the heart of Reading’s town centre, just a couple of minutes from the station, and with a wealth of fantastic amenities right on the doorstep.
This is a vibrant, predominantly office-based role offering four days in the office and one day working from home.
