We are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join our outstanding team of teachers. This post would suit either an experienced or Early Career Teacher (ECT). The ethos of the team is extremely supportive and positive, with a proven track record of outstanding outcomes.
We can offer opportunities to teach KS3 English, GCSE English, Media Studies, and A-level English Language, English Combined, English Literature, Film Studies, and Media Studies.

More importantly, they must be able to alter their lessons to the needs of our students year on year. You will be joining a highly effective team who work collectively to move student progress forward each year, both within the English team and the wider school.
Our recent OFSTED visit highlighted: “Students at Vandyke are proud and articulate ambassadors for their school. They enjoy learning and achieve well. They thrive as a result of the school’s ambition for all students to become ‘world ready citizens’.”
“Students are confident, courteous, and aspirational. They behave well and move around the school calmly. They respect themselves and others.”
